TITLE: CHRISTMAS WRAPPIN’
GENRE: Rap/Novelty/Holiday

Composer/Performer Karen Soroca first got the idea for this rap Christmas carol while singing and musical directing for “The Caroling Company”, whose numerous on-camera film and TV credits included “Scrooged” and “The Addams Family”. Several years later, Karen reworked it with Janet, adding a hip-hop beat and some world beat instruments to create the fun song you hear today. “Christmas Wrappin’”, get your feet a-tappin’!

TITLE: DANCE ON ICE

TITLE: HAPPY HALLOWTHANKSMAS
GENRE: Holiday/Novelty/A Cappella
VOCALS: Karen Soroca & Friends
DESCRIPTION: Composer/Performer Karen Soroca says: “As a child, I remember that each holiday had its own distinct flavor. Nowadays, it seems as if the holidays, starting with Halloween and ending with New Year’s Eve, have all become one big, mixed-up holiday. Pumpkins are on display side by side with Christmas lights and Thanksgiving is a quick nod in-between. So, I decided to rename this season ‘Happy HallowThanksmas’ and to write this spoofy, novelty, a Cappella holiday song to honor it.”

TITLE: HIGHWAY 101

In a universal sense, this song is about letting go, moving on, and following our dreams, whatever they may be. Our vocalist really nailed it, and we had one of Bruce Springsteen’s top recording drummers, Gary Mallaber, play on the track. “Highway 101” is quintessential Soroca & Allocca. It features a rock beat, a memorable melody, a killer chorus, catchy lyrics and most of all, a positive, uplifting message for all.
